I think it is going to take an amazing story now to reach our expectations from the author due a few of her other books being in my opinion outstanding , and so for that reason I was utterly quite bored listening to this, sorry frieda .

I was recommended this one, I am new to audio books in general so wasn’t sure where to start. I am also new to this author but definitely not anymore. Throughout any book I am a nightmare for guessing the ending and in this one I thought “ I know what’s going on here”. Safe to say I was so wrong and didn’t expect the ending, I had me earphones in all day I could not switch off. I was hooked, I hit house work done, a food shop ( forgot most items as too distracted ) made tea and had a bath ( no ear phones ). I have never gasped reading a book before but this had me! Definitely one to add to your read list.

Good plot & quite a page turner. The Goodies are likeable but have believable character flaws & the Baddies are really baaaaad!
