Good story but not McFadden’s best
I think if I wasn’t such a fan of some of freida mcfaddens other books (the housemaid series, never lie and the inmate) I would have rated this higher. Good story which is full of twists and turns but just not one of my favourites. Narrator is a bit ‘breathy’ for the male character

Great twist
Took a while to get into the story, I nearly gave up but glad I persevered as the last few chapters were gripping. Loved the unexpected twist at the end

Well… I finished it
Story was ok. Writing was a bit trashy but that might not have been helped by the terrible breathy narration when speak any male parts. Totally over-acted.

Loved it!
Keep me gripped right through and the twist at the end made me go straight back to the start and read it again to see what clues I missed. Brilliant book - by far her best!

Makes you want to keep reading
It was a bit predictable in places but there were other twists too. I’m afraid I didn’t like the reader - nice voice to listen to but didn’t like the other voices she put on. Maybe it would have been better if I’d have read the book rather than listened to it.
