Summary

"I didn't realize how much I would miss grocery shopping until it was gone."

Life was pretty good. The love of Alice's life had proposed, they were proud new homeowners, and she'd just landed a great promotion at work. Things were going to plan.

Well, they were, until the Red Death struck.

Billions dead in a matter of weeks. The survivors are few and far between. No one is safe. Life will never be the same again.

An excellent book.

I really enjoyed this book. I've seen some reviews that criticise it for being boring but the story appears to be quite realistic (albeit the author didn't predict the panic buying of toilet paper and pasta). There are some very sad moments in the book that make you think about your own loved ones and also some comical bits. I also felt this books gives one of the most accurate portrayals of the humble domestic cat in any book I've yet read.

Not a lot hapens

This is an interesting book with not a lot of action or tension. Only one scene of potential violence. It feels very real, but I also got a little bored and just as it seems they might add some strife and tension to the story, it ends. Apparently this is to be one of a series, but I always hate books that end on a cliffhanger and you have to wait months or longer to read the next chapter.

Couldn't put it down

I loved this book. I really did. I think the publishers description/Summery is accurate. I like that it is in Australia as most of the apococolypse books I have found are based in USA, or Britain. I really loved the concept and really everything about it. Listened to it within two days. Just couldn't stop. I wish there was a second book.

Boring

I listen to a lot of audible books. This one put me to sleep. Absolutely boring
