Absolutely brilliant, can not fault this at all. Great Story, with great twists that I didn't see coming. Really enjoyed it, need more like this.

Lots of red herrings in here which worked really well and kept me guessing right to the end. I had several ideas throughout as to the outcome of the story but I was way off - which really pleases me.

So often I find that the twists promised when choosing a book are easy to guess early on and the listening or reading experience then becomes an exercise in discovering how the twist will unfold as opposed to what it will actually be.

Lots of overlapping themes to dwell on as well; marriage, love, trust, right and wrong, consequences, mental health etc; but the one which resonates most and is even referenced on several occasions is "getting what one deserves"

All the characters have guilty secrets but most of them stem from circumstantial criminal acts as opposed to deliberate acts of intent and I am left wondering whether Lisa and Nick really deserve their fates, or whether the Gods could have been kinder? Kats ending is the most ambiguous and we are left to decide her fate ourselves with a does she or doesn't she cliffhanger.

A great use of a credit and the narration was spot on. I shall happily listen to more from both author and narrator.
