I really enjoyed this story that is all about the police v mobsters then we get a super hero whos mission is to beat the bad guys, will he succeed? well I am not going to say any more other than its great and I highly recommend it.

This book is number 1 in the Silence Jones series, which further introduces the character of Silence Jones, the voiceless assassin.

After reading the prequel novella, Deadly Silent, I immediately dove head first into this book, eager to continue the story of Silence Jones, his background, his training, his missions and his life. The prequel got me hooked and this first novel of the series didn’t let up. Lots of back story and flitting back and forth between today and his beginnings helps the reader understand what makes him tick.

There’s action, violence, suspense, vengeance and intrigue as well as a neighbourly blind woman, a constantly drooling cat and a sensory deprivation chamber.

A thrilling story with excellent narration again by Gary Bennett. Brilliant listening.

Silence Jones has been recruited by the Watchers, after his undercover op goes wrong and he goes looking for revenge after his wife to be is murdered. Now an assassin for the Watchers, his first mission is to bring down the man who ruined his life. Good book, that shifts between the past and present, as we get to know Jones.

Gary Bennett narration was so spot on. Gruff when need, and smooth the rest of the time. Loved listening .

Wow, I loved the first novella and was not disappointed with the this book.



Non-stop action . The story is about an undercover police officer whose assignment goes wrong and his fiancé is murdered. He sets about eliminating the remaining people involved in the murder, while also working as an asset for some secret government agency.

Loved his neighbour . We find out why the name Suppressor/Silence. New identity , new voice , new life. The action is fast paced and a great story line,
