The Mark: A satanic cult. A woman's brutal assault. Can one woman face her darkest fears before a demonic entity is unleashed from the depths of hell?

Forest of the Damned: A group of paranormal researchers investigate the infamous Black Forest, hoping to find proof of the afterlife and learn more of the infamous Mother Sibbett. But what they find is far beyond even their worst nightmares.

Listen to The Supernatural Horror Collection now, and strap in for three terrifying tales of ghosts, demons, death, and fear.

"The Demonic, by author Lee Mountford, is a horror tour de force.... It is scary. Truly scary." (HorrorNovelReviews.com on The Demonic)

"There's a slow build-up of dread, as he builds the characters and atmosphere, and slowly unwinds the story. At times, he dangles you over the edge for a few moments before he plunges you over the edge. And this is where his storytelling is a cut above many of his peers." (IntoTheMacabre.com on The Mark)

"I find that it’s often the details we least expect that elevate a novel’s status in our mind, and keep it there longer. A great testament to Mountford’s skill as a writer, is that I can still vividly 'see' many of the scenes in my mind, several books afterward. Highly recommended." (HorrorAfterDark.com on Forest of the Damned)

A great set for those who love the supernatural

In the past I had previously read 'the forest of the damned' so I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to read more books by the author. Lee Mountford is so descriptive and really knows how to build up the underlying tension and push you to the edge of your seat. The narrator has the perfect voice to bring the stories to life with very clear and precise pronunciation. I recommend this set to anybody looking for a chilling read especially over the Halloween period. I hope to read more books by the author in the future as he is fast becoming one of my favourite writers within this genre. I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review

Im not a fan of most supernatural horror, as i find a lot of it, slow and boring. However these have ok storys with a decent pace. Just enough to keep my interest.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

What a ride!

The only thing that comes to mind is disturbing, some what in a good way and some what in a bad way. Either way this is one of those books that linger on in your after reading or listening to. The characters come to life in your head and don't want to leave and won't pay rent. I love how there are some sound effects and music. It would have been awesome if there were more.

Narrated very well, great story, very scary.

I was actually scared listening to the story, I don't care for the English accent but it went very well with this Audible. This will be a best seller for sure. Thank You Mr Mountford, best wishes to you.

Don’t listen before bedtime!

I think this is the perfect horror anthology. Hell I read this book I would have had to read it during the day, but with Hannibal Hills reading it to me I think I need someone to sit and hold my hand as I read it. He has a perfect voice for horror I love this book and will read it again definitely!

Great scary story!

Overall the story was great and fast paced. Its an easy quick read and is scary/disturbing on many levels! I loved the references to real life places or stories, it brings believability to the story. I enjoyed the characters for the most part, and the issues that confront them are scary and will freak you out!
There were a few things that I was not completely sold on. First the narrator made everything seem "ho-hum" and boring. When there should be stress, panic, excitement, terror, the narrator makes it feel like talking over drinks after dinner, I wish I had read the printed version so that I could have formed my own character viewpoint. This is of course not the authors fault, but it certainly took something from the story for me. Second, some of the characters felt forced, and it was far too easy to see who the characters were going to become, there was no surprise or discovery of who was "good" or "bad" in the story, more mystery in the characters and their eventual roles would be amazing in this series. I would love to see a more definite and obvious link between the three stories. It feels like they are all linked, but those links are sometimes hard to see, a few more "Easter eggs" would be awesome and fun in this story.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story, and the characters roles in the story. I felt that there is definite potential in this series and Author. I will definitely read more from this author, especially when I am in the mood for a scare!
