About this listen

They've arrived, ten thousand Norsemen encircling the fort where Tamsin grew up.

Up there, behind those high walls, hundreds of Vanirdøtur huddle together to keep safe from the enemy.

So the Viking occupation begins. Norse voices rise into the air as Gofraid's army settles in for the long haul, forming a siege camp full of thousands of cursed men.

Tamsin and her Dubliners must scheme to break the siege apart. It seems impossible; she is just one Vanirdottir amidst this roiling mass of warriors, and her Dubliners are few. But there is nothing quite like the stuffy intimacy of a siege camp to grow close to the men around you.

She learns much more about the men who are fated to her. She learns why Ivar wears runes upon his skin… and how his deep knowledge of Freya's teachings could benefit them all—if he could only set aside the pain of his past and his own obstinate attitude.

In the end, when faced with such staggering obstacles, the only thing they can truly rely on is each other.

The Summer Siege is a historical fantasy book loosely based on real historical events. It is the third tome in the Viking Omegaverse series, a slow-burn romance with reverse harem dynamics. Though there are recaps of previous events, it is not meant to be listened to as a standalone. For mature listeners.

Even though this is not the first time I’ve read this third instalment, hearing it through the stunning tones of John Lane and K.C. Sheridan is like experiencing the story for the first time again. It’s as magical as it is addictive. It’s spectacular. It’s vulnerable. It’s intimate and it’s erotic. Primal in ways that you can almost taste and smell the story. It’s magical. Lyx Robinson and the narrators have infused this story with magic. Highly recommend.

These books have magic weaved into them

Absolutely fantastic. Book three takes us deeper in to the Harem. While on Brittany soil. It’s suspenseful. it is emotional (heart wrenchingly so) there was no way one could STOP this train once it left platform 9 3/4 lol

Here we finally back in on the river Clyde. And things are about too go to hell in a hen basket fast. Disaster from the opening. Disaster all through. And our (h) finds herself caught smack bang in the middle of family & her newly formed pack. Laaaawd a mercy.

Lots of detail (considering this beauty/beast is over 800 pages) and not one darn dull moment. Book #three gives us Ivar — and boy-oh-boy are we not entertained?! Heck yeah!!!
Here we truly see our resident bad boy come alive. He’s more than just a debauched, flipped, sarcastic playboy. He is an Alfa of worth. A protective brother, a brave warrior & a loving son. His (history/backstory) albeit tragic, emotional — and also incredibly swoon-worthy. And that freaking ending… my heart bled for Ivar!!! We just fell more in love with him.
(bet we all was crying snotty tears)

We also got much more insight into millitant, staunch & aloof Olaf (my heart can’t take no more) these boys are emotionally killing me.

And Train* handling matters of the heart with such open transparency, heartfelt passion, romance and his Omega and thus his emotions far better than his two older brothers. Who would’ve thought— I mean Train is the actually the type of Alfa we all want to marry 🫶🏽🤪

Mannnn … and when that full moon finally hits … NEVER SAW WHAT HAPPENED COMING!!!! I thought the full moon in book #two bowled me over… book #three… No Words!!!

This is a literary masterpiece. With depth! And a fantastic eye for detail & history. Oh! And the cherry on top is how phenomenally sexy & passionate the erotic MMFM-scenes are. Oh noooo… she never disappoints. Her “naughty bits” just gets better & better.

Can’t wait for the next leg of their journey. If Ivar broke our hearts. Olaf’s focus is going to be nail in this “feels” coffin (lol)

It’s bound to be epic!!!

There’s Nothing in OmegaVerse writing that can challenge this series. 💕
