Even though I have read all Barbara's books throughout the years and the plots are more or less the same..they never fail to entertain! Loved all the characters past and present and loved tee twist at the end. look forward to her next book!! Karol 😊

To begin with I wasn’t sure where this book was going, but the way it captured the essence of Welsh history and Roman legend was executed in a methodical way. There were a couple of bits where a tiny section was left undone but overall this book showed how much we still don’t know what is legend or factual.

Barbara Erskine is back to her absolute best! What a story to spin of history and Wales! What a great read! Fantastic from start to finish! Likeable characters and a need to see the outcome. A book you cannot but down!
