Simmy Brown has a lot on her mind. I love the Lake District & found the first book in the series in a visit to Booths in Keswick in December 2018. I read the next few books avidly but then had a break of about a year. This book was listened to unlike the others I thin’ it probably does not focus much on the countryside like the others but most of all I think it was the voices used. Simmy had a rather pathetic voice which really spoilt this reading
