Steamy - yes, but with a credible story attached to each of the books. These were quite touching in places and the characters well drawn and likeable.
The author should note that navies do not contain Colonels.

Firstly, this is very good VFM for one credit.

They are certainly steamy, verging on graphic, but I've read worse, and at least the story between those bits is worth listening to. Characters are filled out, and events are reasonably well described.

The narrator wasn't too bad either, hold onto that because the last two books in this series have a different narrator(s), and they're awful.

Overall, it's a series I might well come back to

Overall, not bad

The most compelling Regency romance, with so many characters with unexpected, heartfelt stories. Some are unexpected but, beautiful and the steamy element makes the stories flow. Definitely will be saved as a favourite, to listen to again.

Superb

Interlinked stories with interesting emotional characters, displaying character, flaws and all. Ŕeally appreciate the performance with pleasing pronunciation.

excellent listening

It was rude and not to my taste. It should have had a warning note with it.

I didn’t realise it was so crude. I didn’t need to listen long before I’d heard enough. Sorry that I had wasted a credit on it.
