An otherworldly signal is approaching Earth, and humanity stands on the brink of transformation. The Space Within returns for Season 2, an immersive sci-fi thriller starring Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain.

Psychiatrist Dr. Madeline Wyle (Chastain) has staked everything on a truth no one will believe: that the people being taken, and changed, hold the key to what's coming. Now she confronts Resident 9 (Mandy Patinkin), a mysterious man with impossible knowledge of her past, while a former NASA scientist (Michael Shannon) surfaces with evidence of an alien artifact. At the same time, John Lewin (Bobby Cannavale) will do anything to shield his supernaturally gifted daughter, Sophie, from those who want to control what she's becoming.

But as the signal grows stronger and inexplicable changes intensify, Maddie and her patients are branded threats to national security. With government forces closing in, every one of them must choose between the world they know and whatever lies beyond. One woman's search for the truth will decide the fate of us all.
