Mali & Joe are AMAZING and worth the listen

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I believe that this book is definitely worth the listen. The book is a lot of information but easily able to be digested. I believe this book is both well written and well read. The authors took time to give you previews and then go into detail without losing my interest. They give valuable information that helps with every relationship.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There are no specific characters in the book, but they do give so many examples of how the way we think about ourselves definitely affects our relationships. I appreciate that the book addresses every single relationship, not only romantic relationships, but also business, platonic and the relationship you have with yourself.

Have you listened to any of Mali Apple and Joe Dunn ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have watched Mali and Joe on YouTube and this is almost like an extended and more structured version of their videos. They give you great information that will stay with you, the only difference is that the videos allow room for their personalities to shine so much more.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

My favorite part of the book is the "change your mind" section. This section talks about how just changing the way that you think, can do so much for you. You can hurt or heal your mood by simply just allowing your mind to revise and resubmit what you are feeling and how to turn it into a positive outlook.

Any additional comments?

I think this is a great book and should be a class taught in schools. We never actually learn how to create and maintain relationships, this could be why we suffer so much. If we were taught how to, we would do so much better.

Way more effective than I expected...

This is not just for long-time, married couples. I just began a new relationship and I was wary that this book might be too advanced. They weren't kidding when they said this is for anyone no matter where you are in your love life. Single or not.

I was also worried that the exercises they preface, at the beginning of the book, were going to be a little corny and scare away my boyfriend. I was so wrong! These exercises can be practiced both internally and externally with your partner. They made me realize SO many subconscious behaviors / extra baggage so that I could kick them to the curb before they started causing issues in my new relationship.

The intimacy chapter was extremely interesting as well. In my experience, passion is there but the deep romanticism that I love sometimes isn't. The authors didn't just tell me how to find a more romantic connection. They helped me find out what it is I desired and how to communicate that to my partner. This is definitely going to help keep things interesting even after the honeymoon phase.

Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to take control of their love life and stop letting others dictate your happiness. It taught me that I create my relationships with my own beliefs, so why not shift my beliefs towards ones that make me feel loved and happy?

Thanks, guys! Please message me with any new books in this series!!

Solution to jealousy is to become bisexual

The recommendations in the "how to overcome jealousy" the author states, "rather than being threatened by my partner staring at a beautiful women, I would say to myself, no wonder my partner likes looking at her. She's beautiful! I like looking at her to"! This is the kind of bull sht advice the authors give for overcoming jealousy for a "healthy relationship". It's laughable. No normal, healthy person who is NOT in an open relationship is going to give their blessing to you eye Fcking other people that you are fantasizing about having sex with. If they are okay with it, rest a sure that they actually don't care enough about you to care whether or not you are eye Fcking someone else in front of them. These authors also put their stamp of approval on your husband or wife regularly flirting with other members of the opposite sex, claiming that it's innocent and healthy. Clearly it's been several years since these two clowns have dated. 40% cheating rate in the USA... How the the hell do you think that affair started?? Yep, you guessed it - with healthy natural flirting with other people that aren't your wife or husband. Horrible advice. Thanks authors, but no thanks. I'll keep my common sense.
