Summary

The smoking-hot one-night stand I was never supposed to see again? Yeah, well, I might be pregnant, and he's my OB-GYN.

Not a fan, at all!

What would have made The Soul Mate better?

The hero of this story is an OB/GYN who makes mistakes when he is distracted and regularly blows off appointments to chase after the heroine. This really bothered me, a man who is unable to do his job when life gets in the way is a major turn off for me.

Would you ever listen to anything by Kendall Ryan again?

Kendall Ryan is a hit or miss for me, I would be less likely to try her books after this experience.

What didn’t you like about Ava Erickson and Jeremy York ’s performance?

Jeremy York was awful. There were scenes where he voice made me incredibly uncomfortable, I kept flashing back to the serial killer in "Silence of the Lambs." I ended up speeding up the book so that his creepiness was less noticeable.

Cute story; male narration was a disappointment

Any additional comments?

The story was cute and Ava Erickson was good, but I am not a fan of Jeremy York. I would have preferred to listen to Ava's 'male' voice than his own. I have listened to 2 other books he narrated and could not get into those either. In my opinion his regular male voice is just not that strong or manly and his 'female' voice is horrible. Maybe it's his reading style or the way he executes the lines, but I just cannot get into any sex scenes he reads because he's supposed to be this strong alpha type man yet he doesn't sound like one at all. So all in all, his reading scenes were a disappointment.

And baby makes three?

This story was sexy and sweet at the same time. A one night stand has a gynecologist looking for the woman who got away. She's got issues with abandonment and takes off while he's asleep. When they meet again it's under rather shocking circumstances. I liked the dialogue between characters that the author is so good at and the narration was well done as well. Another fun book by Kendall Ryan!

Kendall Ryan brings ALL the feels

This story will make you laugh, cry and sigh. It will open you eyes to losing a loved one, no matter on what level, and how it can effect your life and the choices you make sometimes without you realizing or admitting it to yourself. Mason is what the male fantasy is made of and you will fall in love from page one. Ava Erickson and Jeremy York where the characters personified.

Unforseen circumstances.

Where does The Soul Mate rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is up at the top. This book has a great story to tell.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Soul Mate?

The pregnancy......

Have you listened to any of Ava Erickson and Jeremy York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They are great narrators.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Realizing that no matter what they were going to be together was moving.

Narration subpar

The story line could have been worked out a bit better, and I would have to say Sebastian York would have held my attention more, if he was the narrator for Mason

it seems like a man wrote this! smh

i pray no onethings most of the crap in this book is true! 30 year old women with irregular periods don't need to start worrying about fertility. and I would same more but I don't want to ruin it for anybody who would like to read or listen to this book. I will just say that as a woman that knows facts it what's an annoying book!
