Summary

Crease is known in Weaver as ‘the bug guy’, the man who takes care of insects and other critters. But what emerges from the shadows of the town’s waste plant is beyond anything found in nature.

Fist-sized cockroaches. Bird-sized wasps. Spiders, millipedes, ticks, all swollen to enormous bulk with vicious appetites to match. And other things, creatures that should never exist.

Through the night, they come, slithering, buzzing, scuttling, crawling over skin, burrowing into flesh, making the town their nest.

Time is soon running out for Crease and the other survivors, as that hideous skittering noise closes in from all around....

Like something from Tales From the Crypt

Not a good as The Bookshop from Hell, but still a very good listen. Very graphic with details of gore and terror. I wouldn’t want to come across any of those bugs.

insane book

wow most relentlessly insane plot in....the....world. Not for the squeamish but enjoyed it all the same. Jeff Harding always does a good job narrating.

Entertaining, creature story.

Good paced thrill. Could have been longer, but over all a very good listen.

What a romp!

Absolutely loved this. A silly critter caper. Would make a great film. Narrator! Suites the writing style, and story perfectly!

Jeff Harding is by far the best American narrator

If this book was a movie it would be B movie. why Jeff Harding decided to narrate it is a mystery but his narration was the only reason I listened to the end.

Enjoyable creature feature

Well paced, creepy, and fun. Like a good old-fashioned B-Movie.
Competently narrated. It's definitely a good listen.

Not bad, unexpected pleasure from this one

With decent narration and a bug infested story with some super ganja thrown in to boot. For free this book was great also it would've been a credit well spent.

Brilliant

David Haynes is a new author to me. I wish I had discovered him earlier. I really rate this book, I love the style of his writing and it just takes me back to a different time of horror writers.

Narrator was a bit boring, very little expression just droned on.

Fifteen worb minimum? Why? I think I 🤔 nk i got it covered with just the heading. Not sure that many people read past the synopsis of the book.
