About this listen

Following The Black Elfstone comes the second book in the triumphant four-part conclusion to the Shannara series, from one of the all-time masters of the fantasy genre.

Tensions in the Four Lands are high. The mysterious force that laid waste to Paranor has revealed a more human face. While some gain a new understanding of the invaders and what they are after, others continue their existing quests even as the peril rises. For what looked to be a formidable invading force proves only the forerunner of a much vaster army - one that is now marching against the Four Lands in all its fury.

How dare anyone who reviews the work of this master story teller dare to say anything adverse. The only comment I do make is why cant April 2019 come quickly,. Come on Druids make it happen. Book 3 is waiting to be consumed by all the Terry Brooks fans

As captivating as ever

Seems to have been cut short as a way to draw out the series into more books and make more money.

Great story well told but most importantly no constant repetition of incoherent stats that have destroyed the enjoyment of many a good story.

Book3?.

As Drisker Arc fades in a disappeared Paranor trying to find the answer to allow it to reemerge, Clizia Porse wastes no time in searching out Tarsha and trying to bend her to her will. Ajin shows the depths she will go to in order to subdue the Four Lands and its peoples.

I found parts of the book containing Shea Ohmsford to be a little on the uninteresting side and tended to fast forward on some parts.

Not having listened to any of the previous Shannara books, I was unaware that cliff hangers were the norm. I think if you are going to end on a cliff-hanger, then the following book should be on the way. Fortunately, I only discovered this series when three books had already been released and I only purchased it as I thought it to be a trilogy. I now understand there is a fourth book, which seems to be nowhere in sight on Audible.

Still Too Short
