The story starts straight away, with Shiloh taken away from her former life and forced to marry Jagger Moss, head of the Moss empire, to settle her father's debt. I was assuming it would be like a beauty and the beast style story where Jagger would show another side to himself to Shiloh and she would fall in love with him... oh how wrong I was. Enter Maddox, Jaggers second in command, who is tasked to keep an eye on Shiloh from the start. They're forced together constantly which, over time, they start to fall for each other... THEN I thought this may be a why choose situation. WRONG AGAIN! I learnt that Jagger doesn't share his possessions, and Shiloh quickly understands thats all she is to him, therefore this insane forbidden tension coils between Shiloh and Maddox...until they can't hold back any longer.

My god, the spice between Jagger and Shiloh was great but the spice between Shiloh and Maddox was PERFECTION 🔥

Danni Staro voices Shiloh and as usual she did a fantastic job, she is able to portray Shiloh in various ways: with Jagger she is held back and slightly cautious, making her seem "weak" to Jagger... but with Maddox she is headstrong, flirty and passionate. Dani has a way to show these different areas of Shiloh with just her voice and it's amazing to hear.

Caden Hart voices Jagger. Caden portrayed Jaggers calm, patient authority with precision, meaning even when his voice sounded calm he was able to convey authority over everyone which astounds me that people can do. This is only my 2nd book listening to Caden and he is becoming a quick favourite.

Lucas Troy voices Maddox and once again Lucas knocks it out the park. Maddox is always controlled, unless he is around Shiloh in which his frustration at maintaining it is evident and Lucas did an amazing job. I love listening to Lucas as an MMC, he always delivers in his characters, and there's something in the way he says "Fuuuuuck" in a spicy scene that floors me every time 🫠

God how i love a Fierce FMC , and fierce she was !!! I had the done this audiobook in 1 sitting . I love the love triangle, it was done so well . Its spicy, angsty, and oh so delicious!

Dark, emotional, and completely addictive. The narrators nailed the tension between Shiloh and Jagger her strength, his cold control, and the slow-burn chaos between them. The Moss Empire felt dangerous and real, and the dual POV made the story even more immersive.

If you love mafia romance with bite, grit, and heat — this audiobook delivers. I couldn’t stop listening.

I absolutely devoured this audiobook. The tension between the MC’s was the chefs kiss.
All 3 narrators freaking nailed it! They beautifully captured and portrayed all the emotions, you could feel the vulnerability, the heat & the intensity between the MC’s . I can’t wait to see what comes next from this great author. 😊

I loved every second of this book. It was not your typical mafia romance were the enemies become lovers, it was a million times better. Shilo is and absolute boss. She was such an amazing FMC and her character development throughout the book was so good.
Jagger didnt really have that many redeemable qualities in not gonna lie but he was still a great character and lived up to his big bad mafia boss reputation. Maddox was probably my favourite, he has a brooding quiet quality to him and I loved how he came out of his bad boy shell.

Dani, Caden and Lucas absolutely blew me away with their performance. They brought each of the characters to life perfectly and made me love the story even more.
