Would you consider the audio edition of The Shawshank Redemption to be better than the print version?

Thoroughly enjoyed the performance of this little story. I'd seen the film before but this was a great version.

loved the story. I just wish that it was narrated by Morgan freeman. however Frank muller does sound kind of like him.

A beautiful story, read brilliantly. I’d seen the film first and absolutely loved it, so I was intrigued (and anxious) about the book. It doesn’t disappoint. The film is a fairly faithful adaptation, and it’s incredible how SK pitched everything so perfectly in his book. It’s a relatively short book, particularly compared with some of King’s others, and I craved more. But it’s special as it is and evokes as much emotion as the film. I’ll definitely be watching the film again now (for about the 20th time) and will definitely return to this book in the future. Wonderful. Thank you SK.

Read this many years after watching the fantastic film and although a few differences it’s really enjoyable and because I’d seen the film first I could imagine the scenes when described.
I’m assuming that the narrator was chosen because of the ‘Morgan Freeman’ sounding voice.
Very well narrated and a great story.
