Summary

When the devil meets an angel...

Country bred Lucy Craddock-Hayes is content with her quiet life, until the day she trips over an unconscious man - a naked unconscious man - and loses her innocence forever.

...he can take her to heaven...

Viscount Simon Iddesleigh was nearly beaten to death by his enemies. Now he's hell-bent on vengeance. But as Lucy nurses him back to health, her honesty startles his jaded sensibilities - even as it ignites a desire that threatens to consume them both.

...or to hell.

Charmed by Simon's sly wit, urbane manners, and even his red-heeled shoes, Lucy falls hard and fast for him. Yet as his honor keeps him from ravishing her, his revenge sends his attackers to her door. As Simon wages war on his foes, Lucy wages her own war for his soul, using the only weapon she has: her love.

Loved it

Loved every second of it after about 2 or 3 chapters. I loved the previous 2 of the series, The Raven Prince and The Leopard Prince Elizabeth Hoyt is a new author for me but she has become one of my favorites.
In the beginning of this book I got a bit bored , I couldn't get into it as I was a bit disappointed because I thought that Lucy the heroine would nurse Simon back to health herself, not the doctor, and treating and looking after him would take a bit longer than that, but that bit was only about a paragraph long.
Also Simon was a bit of a fop, but he was funny, but also a bit empty headed at times in the beginning . And I didn't like that he wore a wig, and his clothes were like of a dandy. In fact I was nearly going to stop listening, but then I started to realise that it was all a cover up of his true character because of what happened to him in his past, so I persevered and was not disappointed at all, it was absolutely brilliant. Simon's true character turned out to be quite different, but his clothes didn't change and he still wore his wig occasionally. But when he married Lucy he hardly ever wore it. In fact his character also changed a bit from when he met her.
The narrator is very good and I really like her narrating. This trilogy was the first time listening to her and she has become one of my top 10 favorites. This was definitely worth a credit and I will listen to the whole series again.

A good original storyline with a nice ending🙂

I think this one is one of my favourites because it has a good storyline rather then the usual in Historical Romances.
