The story: Even though I liked other books by Lynne Graham I absolutely do not recommend this one. The characters lack likeness (how am I supposed to cheer for the couple when I cannot find a single likable trait) and they seem to be way too engulfed in their thoughts and too much time spent overthinking everything when we should have a dialogue longer then 2 phrases, what happened with the dialogue? All of the overthinking left me bored and wanting for the story to get into its climax and end the suffering already.
Narrator: overall ok besides the lack of understanding of what are you supposed to be narrating for us. It seemed like I was listening to a fantasy book all the time and not a "love story", using different waaaay "out of character" voices for them was ridiculous. Making weird voices when on "the act" made me cringe to the highest level because it came out of nowhere when the dude was aroused (still cringing). In the end the dude's voice changed accents all the time and that also made me cringe because I couldn't indentify who was talking all the time.
Ps: *spoilers* thinking about your children right before having sex with the hot dude seems a bit of a stretch, how on earth would get turned on like that? Also how am I suppose to believe that they want to be together when they hate each other with all their might?
