About this listen

Li Ye (Marry Lennox) grew up without the love and affection of her parents. Clear and easy to follow. Used the key info (characters, vocab) free download from the mandarin companion website to help with understanding. The speed is great but for certain sections being able to reduce it to 0.75 was so useful.

Great for Chinese learners

I strongly recommend choosing a book that you know and starting there. The secret garden was one of my favourite childhood books. Although I am only HSK2 I could follow the audio book because i knew the tory. I didn’t understand all of the words but that doesn’t matter, By the end of the book I cold already hear the Mandarin much clearer. This is a GREAT way of improving your listening skills.
