Unusual, gripping, far fetched.
This book was all of the above, very unbelievable but then again, aren't most books? If they were too ordinary, they would be humdrum and boring!.
Would you REALLY move in with your deceased best friends husband so soon after her death?? Rebecca even stayed the night of the funeral - even though she had never met the man before in her life!! Would you??
Yet, at the same time as being far fetched, I just has to keep on listening, desperate to hear the story develop and how it would all end. I guessed halfway through that the relationship between Richard and Olivia was not all it seemed.
The final couple of chapters were the most bizarre and unbelievable and I didn't quite know what to make of Rebecca's sudden complete change of personality (?)
I realise that I have given this book quite a lot of negative criticism, but I did actually enjoy the book and would also recommend it.
