Recipes for love and murder was such a wonderful mix of humour and suspense that I couldnt wait to start Satanic Mechanic... but was very disappointed. It was very drawn out and felt contrived. The counselling passages went on and on and the PTSD was unconvincing. The behaviour of the characters didn't make sense alot of the time. I really wanted to love this book but couldn't.

Rich characters brought to life amidst the sights, sounds and, more importantly, tastes of the Klein Karoo as the adventure unfolds...

A story to savour...

Another story that takes you right into the landscape of South Africa. Brilliantly told with a mix of African dialects thrown in. A development of characters from book one in the series plus another set of recipes thrown in.

An interesting take on life therapy and love. take on

I really loved the first book in the series, and this continues with the same cast of characters. Most are progressing, and their lives are moving forward, which I really like. For me there's nothing worse than characters who are set in stone! I like to have people to root for in a book, and I'm happy to see them progress. The story is beautifully read, and this really enhances the story.
