Summary
After joining the Elemental Coven, young witch Lilith's eyes were opened to the truth that the Council has always been desperate to keep hidden. With only two Covens still standing, Lilith's world is in real danger of collapsing and so is the Elemental Coven. After a mysterious illness begins to infect the Coven, witches are dying and not even coven leader Willow's power of resurgence is enough to save them.
After the Battle of the Grove destroys Lilith's good leg, and her ability to walk, she faces an internal war about her future that consumes her, dragging her further and further into the darkness. Willow is desperate to help Lilith find the light because Lilith isn't just her sister, she is the Elemental Coven's last hope of survival. As the Sage's ex-apprentice, Lilith is the only witch capable of taking down the ancient ruler.
As the war destroys the last of the covens, Lilith knows there is only one way to end the chaos for good - a final showdown against the Sage that only one of them will walk away from.

A Surprising Epic Journey!!
This series was amazing!
The Sage had me on the edge of my seat. The details were well written. I was sucked in from the beginning. All the secrets are revealed. I was shocked with the revelations. There is still heartache for Lilith to endure. She does get stronger and realizes who she truly is.
This last book in the series was a remarkable ending.
The narrator Lynn Norris was fantastic! The pace she held and the voices were perfect. She brought you into the story.

Where is book 4?
Perhaps the most powerful of the trilogy, book 3 sees Lilith's life fast becoming a far cry from what she had imagined. It's quite shocking at times, and at times tender. As a fan of the Fantasy genre, I have to say that this trilogy is really worth a read.
What will become of the land of five? Five what? Oh yes, five covens. And what will become of Lilith? I loved finding out and I am now off to find other books by Kayla Krantz.

The Sage - Brilliant
This was the third book in the trilogy telling the story of Lilith, the young Witch discovering her powers, her past and her future. This book was brilliant, I could not stop listening until the end to find out how Lilith would overcome all the hurdles, I don't want to give the end away but it was gripping until the finale when it all came together beautifully and I so enjoyed it. Also narration was excellent, sympathetic to the characters, so that you were carried away with the story without even thinking about it. Enjoy!!!
