I’m not usually a huge friends to lovers fan but this was done perfectly.
Penelope & Decker have been friends since they were 11 and have been in love with each other since then too but timing never worked out
Now Pen a single mum to Hazel has moved to Chicago to be close to her dad who happens to coach Deckers baseball team. Pen and Decker are thrown together for work & the groups kids conspire to get them together too.
I was shouting kiss her and I cheered when he finally did! Decker had to work though his issues and rules to finally break them and take his shot with the girls he’s always loved.
Honestly a flaming good book that will make you feel all the feels and smile.
A definite 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for me
The full cast were all brilliant I cannot wait for the next book
