Mila gets kidnapped by a saint. Saint is not likeable at all, he's abusive, aggressive, controlling, and he feels no remorse about taking what he wants. Mila is a dumb arse not opening that envelope. Who in their right mind would refuse to know the truth in her situation? She has this weird and unhealthy attraction to a man who treats her with zero respect, in reality a guy like Saint would never be able to redeem himself or show love. It's a painful listen. It lacks the right balance to be both dark and enjoyable. I won't continue the series because nothing really happens in this book. The author just wanted to stretch a story out.

I have never felt more angry than I have listening to this episode. Cruel and dangerous and hope that this has a happy ending because at the moment there seems to be no end to the anger

The narration is in a different style, and I love it! They both get very dramatic, loud and fast, when covering the intimate scenes and it gives atmosphere. The story is good too, with lots of twists, just like a 'proper' book.
I'm buying the next book, something I don't often do.

This was a horrible read no redemption for the male character in this story whatsoever, pure abuse towards a vulnerable woman. A woman presented as a weak defenceless female. Taking advantage of but who also did not help herself. I will not be reading the rest of the series.

Crossed the line into too much abuse. Not a good read at all.
Had to give up as it was too uncomfortable. Bella J is definitely no JT Geissinger who is much more comfortable to read with her wit and strong female characters. I will not be listening any of Bella J books again. Thankfully it was free.
