Kate wasn’t expecting a proposal, but when Rob pushed the small velvet box across the table how could she not get her hopes up? Leaving the pieces of her old life behind, Kate retreats to her sister’s ramshackle farm, where handsome handyman Dan is a welcome distraction. But it soon becomes apparent that underneath the idyllic surface, not all is as it appears at the farm – and whilst Kate didn’t go there looking for a new beginning, she might not be the only one to find one…

Nice story, easy plot - need a part 2 !
Unfortunately the narrator was awful! She spoke in a monotone American/Irish/Liverpudlian accent that very nearly made this a DNF !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hilarious & Heartwarming Gem!
This audiobook is an absolute delight! From the first chapter, I was hooked by the witty humor and sharp double entendres that had me laughing out loud. The main character, Kate, is so relatable, navigating the crazy balancing act of family, career and the ever elusive perfect love life. Like many of us, Kate has to learn how to get out of her own way and finally be honest with herself about what really matters.
The story is heartwarming and inspirational, especially for anyone who feels like they’re on the cusp of something more in life. It challenges you to find the courage to live authentically and chase your dreams. One of my favorite moments was when Kate said, “I was the hero of my own story now, not the best supporting actress”, a line that will stay with me.
Cleverly crafted with layers of humor and insight, this audiobook takes you on a journey of self discovery and empowerment. If you’re ready for some belly laughs, relatable struggles and a few life changing realisations, this is a must-listen! Perfect for anyone who feels there's another way to live, with the courage to dream bigger. Highly recommend!

Refreshingly funny!
I really enjoyed The Reset and found it refreshingly funny with an engaging story and great characters. I enjoyed the narration also and would recommend.

A fabulous and funny story, beautifully told!
I loved this warm, funny story about Kate, a highly relatable woman in her thirties who realises she deserves so much more from life than she’s currently getting and decides to take her future firmly into her own hands. This is an inspiring tale for anyone who wants to laugh, smile and maybe make a dramatic change to their own life. Great narration by Jessica Barden as well.

Easy listening
Lovely story and a happy ending, perfect 🫶. Recommend to hopeless romantics. It helps that I read it on my membership with audible for no extra cost
