It felt like almost nothing happened in the book. It's kinda sweet romance. The last 20min the author is trying to persuade me something might happen in the next book, not sure I believe her. I need a bit more action and adventure in my romances.

There is no benefit of having a book free on audible if it leaves you in a cliff hanger you need credits to complete the story! So frustrating!!

I didn't realise this was the first of a trilogy. I picked it looking for an enemies to lovers or forced marriage romcom. It is the latter without the 'com.'
It's got the bones for a good trilogy, just not the lighthearted read I wanted at this time.

Book 1 - Fantastic drama excellent narrators lots of great anticipation. I had to buy extra credits to continue the story.
Book 2 and 3 hopefully the same superb performance.

Not my favourite Monica Murphy, and I'll definitely not read next book. I disliked the characters and felt utterly bored by the story. So, i sped up to 2.75/3 to finish it faster.
maybe it's a me problem, and i belive sone will love the story is just didn't.
