Shane East and Rose Dioro did an outstanding job narrating this book. Unfortunately, I feel that the story was too long, I would’ve appreciated it more if it was shorter.

L. Steele has a way with her stories, I would love to know what her brain thinks constantly and how she comes up with unique stories like this one. The plot was ok, but I feel that Declan’s behavior needed to improve toward Solene.

Overall the performance was on point and loved the accent representation!!!

Sloane and Declan first met when she was fourteen and far to young. That meeting had dire consequences for Declan. When they next meet he offers to take her to LA and help her with her singing career. The sparks that fly between them are electric. But with their relationship work with all the lies and half truths they tell each other.
I loved this story from start to finish, I could not but this book down.
The narration is great.
L Steels books just get better and better.

Shane East is one of my top narrators and while I’ve never listened to any of her work, but I don’t think I could have picked more perfect narrators to voice Declan and Solene.

I really enjoy angsty, enemies to lovers, fake relationship, billionaire romances and this one was a rollercoaster of emotions. I absolutely loved the chemistry between the characters, and it a long, seemingly daunting listen, but other than that it was a really enjoyable listen that I was surprised to finish as quickly as I did.
