I finished the book still interested in this world and the possibilities for the characters. A view in to a hidden London filled with people of a magical persuasion. What happens when all of it is revealed and you see more than you probably wanted? I look forward to a sequel.

What a jewel of a story and performance. everything about this story appeals to me. I love science fiction and fantasy full stop but this in particular because she is of African Jamaican heritage and it truly is fantastic to recognise aspects of yourself in not just one character but many.

I await the next installment with baited breath.

Absolutely loved this book. The characters are really distinct and interesting and I can’t wait to find out what happens next… the only teeny thing is the voiceover edit missed a couple of stumbles and starting over but the story is so worth a listen (or read)!
