About this listen

Run rabbit run!

Elise Liddell is no country girl, but she’s not averse to the existence of rabbits.

Especially cute and fluffy white ones.

But there’s one on the loose in Tumble Town.

And that particular sweet bunny turns out to be a harbinger of death....

Every time Elise spots it, she soon discovers another corpse. Keen to help her ex-colleagues at the Ministry of Witches Police Department solve the murders, Elise launches her own investigation alongside the rest of her team at the Wonderland Detective Agency.

The problem is, they’re not the only ones trying to get to the bottom of the situation...and now the hunters have become the hunted.

The Wonderland Detective Agency Series is a paranormal cozy mystery series, set in the same universe that Wonky Inn audiences have already fallen in love with. While some of the characters and places will be instantly familiar, Wycherley effortlessly casts her spell so that her zany new friends quickly become ours, too.

Clean and cozy, The Rabbit Hole Murders, the second book in this wonderful new series, is chock-full of witches, wizards, warlocks, ghosts, shadow people, rabbits, and more. You’ll love this glimpse into the darker side of the Wonkyverse.

Elise Liddell is a Retired DI operating her own detective agency called wonderland. When she see's and follows a white rabbit Elise finds more than she barged for. I love the Lewis Carrol easter eggs. This is an excellent mystery. Slightly darker than the Wonky Inn books.
The narrator does an excellent job

I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this fun series and I would highly recommend you read or listen to the books in order. They could work as stand alone books but I think you get a better understanding and continuity if done in order. Especially as the case continues on from the previous book and continues on to the next, like one giant story. This is great because I have already fallen in love with the series. The characters are delightful and quirky enough to keep it entertaining but it is the whole world that the author has created that has has captivated my imagination. The series revolves around the death of a wizard and in the first book the culprit is caught only to reveal that she was not working alone, Elise and the Wonderland detective agency this time round is caught up in a number of murder investigations and one has links to the suspects partner. Although I prefer books where the cases get solved, I found enough is learnt and happens that I am hooked and pleased with each book. I am eagerly waiting for the next case and development.

Elise is on a high she solved her first case and even has her old partner, although he is a ghost, working with her. There might still be some unanswered questions but life is looking better, until she started to see a white bunny. An innocent bunny running around the mean streets of Tumble Town doesn't seem like a good idea but every time she follows the bunny she discovers a dead body. The first body has a connection to her last case, a case she thought she could put behind her but with the discovery of more bodies with the same tattoo as the first, it looks like she might have to keep the case open for a while longer. Following up on the tattoo connection leads her deeper into the rabbit hole and that's before she has discovered if the bunny is try to help her or harm her? Can Elise find the killer and survive the bunny?

I like the narrator. She gives each character there very own voice and even provides some with accents. This helps make the story and characters larger than life.
