I'm honestly at a loss for words. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars.. I would. This book touches upon such raw and real struggles, torment, suffering and abuse. and in the throes of all of that, Isaac and Jensen find eachother. Its a journey of a lot of healing, eachother and themselves and facing their pasts, present and future. the book wasn't an easy ride, it put me through the motions and tore out my heart (ultimately put it back together). I swooned, I laughed, I cried, I got mad and then I swooned some more. Isaac and Jensens story is unlike any other and I've never felt such intense pride for 2 book characters than I have for them. this is a 5 star book BUT Dane Anderson and Teddy Hamilton executed and performed this impeccably, their performance flowed naturally and they carried the tone and cadence so well, it delivered the emotions that it was supposed to. they hit me right in my heart. And their chemistry and tension? absolutely UNMATCHED. the spice in this book wasn't just downright dirty, it was powerful and meaningful in ALL the right places. the best book I've read AND listened to this year. thank you immensely Sara Cate! and thank you Dane and Teddy for bringing Jensen and Isaac to such life.
