The chapter on emotional regulation skills in DBT provided me with an understanding on how to control my emotions better. I also plan on practicing positive self-talk and opposite action in my life.

There are a lot of concepts covered in this audiobook, but I have to say that dealing with confrontation has been the best lesson for me so far. I plan on utilizing other strategies discussed in the book to help with stress, anxiety, and relationships. The audiobook is narrated really well.

This audiobook taught me to try to listen to what other people have to say. I try to understand their point of view and listen to what they have to say. I try not to interrupt and let the other person speak their feelings, and I've learned to speak more politely and not overreact by raising my voice or changing my tone of voice in a negative way. I recommend this audiobook.
