About this listen

Are you tired of sounding like a broken record? “Stop that! Don’t touch! Because I said so!” Meet the parenting guide that will help you trade chaos for calm—and yelling for connection.

The Positive Parenting Guide is the modern-day survival manual for moms and dads who want to raise emotionally intelligent, cooperative, and confident kids—without losing their minds (or their voices) in the process. Drawing on the latest child psychology and real-life stories from the trenches, Tina Faber shows you how to swap punishment for empathy and power struggles for peace treaties… all while actually enjoying your kids again.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Build a rock-solid bond that makes your child want to cooperate (without bribes, threats, or timeout corners).
  • Say goodbye to guilt and hello to empathy-based discipline that actually sticks.
  • Turn tantrums into teachable moments—and meltdowns into connection opportunities.
  • Raise kids who respect boundaries, express emotions, and grow into capable, kind humans.

Why this matters:

Today’s parents are busier, more stressed, and more overwhelmed than ever. But science—and this book—prove that connection, not control, is the secret to raising happy, resilient kids. You’ll laugh, nod, and occasionally mutter “that’s my child” while rediscovering that parenting can be less about perfection and more about partnership.

Inspiring, motivational, actionable—this guide will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about discipline and love. Because the best kind of parenting doesn’t come from being perfect—it comes from being present.

The 2025 updated version is available now on Kindle, Paperback, Hardcover, and Audible.

Im not going to go into too many details but I had some behaviour / attitude issues with my kid and this is the only resource that made any real positive change to this. :)

Heard about this book on a podcast, sounded interesting but have to admit it was even better than I expected.

I like it was realistic - appealed to actually everyday parents, all very genuine and helpful advice. Very good, recommended for all parents.

Now this was EXCELLENT
