i was looking for historical biographies after finishing Churchill and Napoleon. stumbled on this and though why not? You will not be disappointed. It spans 3 centuries, everything you thought about this era will be reassessed as you listen, superbly researched, brilliant narration and the cloak and dagger world of medieval political intrigue was a real eye opener.
