About this listen

Fresh, organic, delicious, sustainable.…

Permaculture gardening at its best. Permaculture is a holistic approach to living in harmony with nature. When it comes to gardening, it means growing local, fresh, organic produce that supports the environment.

And the underlying ethics of permaculture are centered around how we connect to one another and to our planet–things we can all agree are important in our industrialized, often ostracizing world. Discovering permaculture and incorporating its principles will have you living the sustainable life you’ve always wanted while benefiting the planet at the same time. And the best part? Anyone, regardless of previous experience or skill level, can become a permaculture master in no time. • The life-changing issues our planet currently is facing and how the only answer is permaculture
  • The different zones of a permaculture garden and a step-by-step guide on how to plan for each different zone
  • All of the essential information you need to be successful, from water management and mulching to companion planting and contouring

  • What is biomimicry and how goes hand-in-hand with the ideas behind permaculture
  • Hugelkultur beds – what they are, why they are beneficial, and how to build them

  • How to store your produce to feed your family organic, homegrown produce year-round
  • The ten best ways to make money off the excess bounties from your harvest….
  • And so much more!

Step by step, plant by plant, you can have the garden and the life you have always dreamed of. Get ready to take that first step into your new permaculture lifestyle.

It's true - living healthy is mostly about what you eat, but I am sold about gardening through this book. I love how the author calls us out on consumerism and wastefulness without a thought to sustainability; all without sounding condemning. Permaculture is really a solution to many of the world's food problems and I think this is the best book to get you started.

One of the strengths of this book is that it not only provides practical advice on how to create a permaculture system but also emphasizes the importance of regenerative agriculture and the role that permaculture can play in mitigating climate change. The author provides actionable steps readers can take to positively impact the environment, right down to what flowers and plants your can plant to attract bees and pollinators to your farm or plot of land.

My interest in the natural world and the ways in which I may effect positive change to benefit it dates back to my childhood. This book is a resource that investigates how to create a constructive and long-lasting influence while yet keeping a manageable plan in place.
It makes no difference whether the plot in question is a large holding or a window box; the guidance offered is applicable in either case. This book examines the fundamental components that must be present in order to design, construct, and maintain an area of natural habitat that is not only productive but also therapeutic and advantageous.
This is not just a reference book, but also a tale of how everyone of us as people may leave behind a good legacy for future generations. It stimulated my mind and provided me with a lot of motivation. Unquestionably one to make the effort to read from beginning to end, but also one to have on hand as a reference guide.

Great Book.
