About this listen

Paramedic Abi Quinn is hailed as a hero by the patients she saves with the London Ambulance Service, but a secret she’s kept since she was a teenager now threatens to shatter that perfect illusion. When her daughter Rose goes missing while studying at Brighton University, and ghosts from her past return to haunt her, Abi’s caught in a race against time to untangle the web of lies she set in motion over 20 years ago.

A great twisting story, really well presented. The character's feelings were very thought provoking. Perfect narration. I love it.

Brilliant ending

Enjoyed this as an easy listen - good twist at the end. Comparable to a channel 5 drama.

A different thriller

So many twists and turns, you could almost see where the author was leading you to but the ending was so shocking I wanted more!! Brilliant book highly recommend.

Shocking

This was a rollercoaster of a story which should have been clear cut if there hadn’t been so many twists and turns of the bad and ugly and the heroes and monsters. It’s weird how one can dislike a story of the characters and still get glued and fascinated until the end.

So many monsters

The performance was a bit on the flat side, but maybe the ordinariness of the tone was right. And belied the way the tale unfolded. I love not being able to predict

Insightful descriptions of relationships…with some twists
