Seriously ?!!

This narrator makes this book sound like a little girls book like magic ballet shoes! I was not that pleased with that however it makes up with a thrilling storyline with lots of mysterious twists and turns even though I suspected Lyle all along.

I LOVE this series!

Why don’t more people read this book? It is SO good! I have listened to/read this whole series (and the Taylor and Rose Spies series) so many times and I never get tired of it. Katherine Woodfine writes in the language of this book like she lives in the 1900’s. Her descriptions and imagery are perfect and envelope you in the story. The book deals so well with issues of the time period and has characters that fit into the setting perfectly. The characters are all so lovable and relatable, and the villains are AMAZING! I never looked for plot twists in this story and then they just popped up and surprised me. I never saw them coming!

For anyone who likes well written, cozy, London mysteries, I recommend this book and the whole Sinclair series.

The performance of this book by Jessica is so well done. She pulls off every accent smoothly and does a good job differentiating characters with her tone of voice.
