The story is so ordinary and uninspiring that made the entire performance useless, boring and half way through got so annoying that I gave up. I'm not even interested how it ends. This kind of thinking is Not for me.

Boring and annoying

First time I’ve listened to a book in this format, more like a play with a cast rather than a straight narrative. I was surprised how much I liked it, probably because it was so well acted and produced. Also I usually find erotic stuff uncomfortable to listen to but this was cleverly done without graphic language or four letter words. Well done to all involved!

Meh. I’m possibly being mean giving it a 2 overall, it’s more of a 2.5. The narration was great, but the story is just another bog standard psychological thriller that merges into all the others I have read and will soon be forgotten about in my mind within weeks. Nothing stands out as being memorable in terms of the storyline and I often found myself pondering the characters actions, especially Daisy’s. ‘What was the point in doing that’, I often found myself asking. Some of the descriptive seductive scenes dragged on a bit too.

Worth a listen if you have an audible subscription and nothing better to do, but there are better psychological thrillers out there.

All of those hours of listening was not worth it for that ending, so disappointing. The end for Anna was ridiculous and unbelievable cause no one even suggested an ambulance unbelievable which spoilt the whole thing. I was also bored half way through, the seduction was boring and predictable, I did consider stopping much sooner but I was invested by then so I kept going which I wish I never now. Not worth the listen.
