About this listen

An original novella set in season three of The Orville—straight from the pen of Seth MacFarlane, creator of the beloved sci-fi TV show! When Captain Ed Mercer and the crew of the U.S.S. Orville come face-to-face with one of humanity's most vile ideologies, they must solve the moral conundrum of who to hold accountable for evil deeds real… and imagined. Occurring just after episode 308, this is the Orville like you've never seen it before.

I love the show and decided to give the books a chance and I wasn't disappointed, I was confused on how this was to do with the orville but then the moment clicked and it all made sense. Excellent all round.

just finished listening to The Orville Sympathy for the Devil. Beautifully read by Bruce Boxleitner.
Being a massive Star Wars, Star Trek and Stargate fan I was very apprehensive about the new show The Orville. But I loved it and desperate for more of my Orville fix, after watching the season 3 finale. I turned to Audible and found this little gem.
The story was excellent. Although rather confusing at first. what on earth were we doing in pre WW2 Germany. But Mr MacFarlane is a superb story writer. As seen in some of the fantastic episodes he has written for tge Orville. The finishing touch was using Bruce Boxleitner to narrate. I never thought of him as a narrater. But he brought the book and characters completely alive and had me hooked.
I'm now left with everything crossed for Disney to pick up the Orville for a fourth season and if he has time for Seth Mac Farlane to write another book or even a screenplay for a film.

Seth MacFarlane us one very gifted man.
