I wish this was made into an episode! Such fantastic writing and imagination tackling a very delicate subject of nazism. Well done seth!

We are the product of our beliefs. Which are shape by our education and environment. The book is astonishing and mind twisting.
If you can see it from a Self Development point of view, you can make sense of our own world. By changing your beliefs, interset and focus in life the world will expand into the direction of your own goals. Just like in a Simulation.

I think this would have worked better as an episode, although I did enjoy it. It's a well written story, but we're into the second half before there's any mention of any of the crew, and then not long after that, it's over.

There's also none of The Orville's comedy in this story. Don't buy this expecting classic McFarlane laughs or snide comments from Gordon.

I still recommend it. Grab it, but be ready for one of the more serious Orville outings.

I love the show and decided to give the books a chance and I wasn't disappointed, I was confused on how this was to do with the orville but then the moment clicked and it all made sense. Excellent all round.
