Riveting in places but not as good as the first book. well read again Scott.

I'm more than halfway through Nowhere Man and, quite frankly, I'm beginning to feel like I'm being tortured almost as much as Evan Smoak himself. The story has its moments, and there's certainly potential, but the pacing is painfully slow. It seems to take an eternity to get anywhere, and I'm finding myself waiting for something, anything, to actually happen. I was expecting a gripping thriller, not an endurance test. I'll persevere to the end, but at this rate Evan might need rescuing from the book as much as the people he's trying to save!
Three stars for now, mainly because I'm too stubborn to give up.
