Summary

Darkness comes where Nightfall goes....

He has been known by countless names and terrifying deeds throughout the lands of mankind - thief, magic wielder, swordsman, assassin, adventurer. But chief among those names and perhaps the most dangerous of his personae is that of Nightfall, a man - or perhaps the legendary demon himself - gifted with unique powers which any sorcerer would kill to possess.

Yet though Nightfall has always escaped his pursuers by moving on to new realms, new identities, and new enterprises, even the cleverest of beings must occasionally slip. And when this master of the night finally falls prey to a royal trap, he finds the consequences beyond even his ability to evade.

Bound by sorcery and oath to guard and guide a young prince on his quest, Nightfall will need every trick and talent at his command to keep both himself and his idealistic young charge from death at the hands of unknown betrayers.

Love these books

One of my favourite book series. I have loved every MZR book I've read and wish there were more of them. More of them in audio format would also be great.

More books from Mickey Zucker Reichert!

I loved this book from start to finish. What more can I say?! I have read books by this author before and this audio book did not disappoint. Please can we have more audio books by this author, and indeed the narrator.

A romp with death

the character work and world-building were phenomenal it's so easy to fall in love with Prince Edward the emotion that came through him was raw and unadulterated the Stark just supposition to Nightfall lead to a myriad insightful and thought-provoking decisions the narrator was calm cool relaxing and engaging

Really worth it

This Duology is well worth the listen. Great performance, excellent story. The second book is as good as the first, even better, actually.

Very good book

This is one of my favorite books along with the first half of the story. The first half was very predictable in places but it gets better.
