Sadly the pleasure of this audible book was spoiled by the very harsh, and mostly ‘nasal’ voice of the narrator.
The Scottish accent which is usually so beautiful to hear was at times gratings and so shrill and high pitched that it became difficult to concentrate on the storyline.
A number of times I gave up and turned it off as it was too painful and disturbing to listen to.

This is a sudden book to the one I normally listen to but I really enjoyed it.
The different twists & turns of the story kept me listening instead of watching the telly.
I also loved listening to the Scottish accent.
I would recommend it.

For a free book I was absolutely delighted with this book. It kept me riveted from beginning to end. It's one of those books that you can't wait to get to the end but you don't really want it to end. I was totally invested in these characters, the twists and turns throughout the story kept me holding my breath in places.
