Thoroughly enjoyed this book and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. I had been drawn to it through the title, and actually knew very little about the book itself before starting it, but this deeply personal memoir had me hooked from the start. Its eloquent prose, impeccable research and piercing insights into the overlapping patterns between polycystic kidney disease and ecological collapse made it a terrific read. You won’t be disappointed!
