Summary

With "echoes of Of Mice and Men" (The Bookseller, UK), The Motel Life explores the frustrations and failed dreams of two Nevada brothers - on the run after a hit-and-run accident - who, forgotten by society, and short on luck and hope, desperately cling to the edge of modern life.

A true classic

Loved this that much that I bought the book and the dvd and have started following The authors musical career. Yes it's turned me into a digital stalker. The book is written in a simple style which in my opinion adds power to the story. This audio version narrated by the author really brings the book to life.

One of the best books I’ve listened to or read

Great story, a modern nod to Steinbeck.
Loved having the authors narration too.
Going to read the rest of his work
