I thoroughly enjoy The Maid series and maybe should have noted that this is a novella but it's not the length that was the problem for me. Without spoilers, it's not in the same vein as the other reads so far and threw me. also, way too soon I figures it all out. The unsuspecting twists and turns are part of the charm of Molly the Maid- along with many other attributes. still joyful and beautifully written.

Brilliantly written Christmassy story. Typically wonderful Molly and superb characterisation throughout by the amazing Lauren Ambrose. Such a great series, I really can’t wait for further adventures with the love of my life Molly and Juan Manuel her doting partner - or husband!! I so much hope that they have a long and happy life together. Thank you so much to Nita Prose for such a wonderful creation.

I really enjoyed the first two in this series but I was really bored by this one. It's billed as a mystery but it's made incredibly obvious to the reader what the answer is, so only the protagonist is in suspense. I kept expecting a real mystery to start but it never did, it felt a lot like a B or C plot from a proper book. It was also really short but cost as much as a full book so not worth the money.

A tad predictable but very sweet, a pleasant listen for a rainy afternoon or a car ride.
