The Mist

Just finished this excellent novel ‘The Mist’ by Ragnar Jónasson. Tension builds up throughout the novel to an unusual ending. A stranger turns up at an isolated farm in Iceland. Is the female protagonist paranoid ? Is her husband’s calm demeanour more appropriate ? Is the stranger a nice guy ? How far would you go ? Read this fascinating piece of fiction and find out.

My rating 5/5. Highly recommended.

The best of the trilogy

This is by far the best of the trilogy. I was gripped throughout. Sorry when it ended!

Great Trilogy

The Natrator was a bit fast so it didn't create the right atmosphere but the story was really good and there were some unexpected twists. Audible got the order of the books wrong though and I ended up listening to them in reverse order, which was a bit annoying, however didn't spoil the enjoyment of the story.

Weak end to the trilogy

Loved the first two books in the trilogy. This was disappointing. Had really enjoyed Amanda Redman's narration but there was a lot of inconsistencies in her pronunciation of the character names in this book, which was confusing.

Absolutely brilliant!👏🏽LOVED this & Amanda was AMAZING👏🏽

Was hooked on this story! I seen someone has reviewed it saying it was dull and they predicted it🤔 I don’t believe for a minute they had worked out the story😂 and dull is certainly not the word for this! Story is 10/10 and the narration is 10/10! Really clever story, I imagined every scene🤗 definitely recommend this💯🤗 thank you Ragnar Jonasson for an AMAZING story👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽and thank you Amanda Redman for your OUTSTANDING narration 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 and thank you audible for another AMAZING book!!!💯💯💯♥️♥️xxx

not a bad book .

Good book but needed more tension and more drama from the narrator. There was a few lose holes in the plot , but it just about hung together .

Terribly disappointing

After a rivetting opening this book just collapsed. Totally predictable, dull storyline and utterly flat ending. So disappointing. The narrator was good and did her best.
