About this listen

Nicole Blake is a quiet girl, the type of person who is seldom noticed by anyone, until one day she discovers she has the unique ability to see images move on photographs. At first, she uses her ability to entertain friends at parties and work. Meanwhile, the police are unable to uncover a single clue in a series of unsolved murders.

Seasoned detective Paul Hammond learns of Nicole’s ability and enlists her help. Carl Kadner, a rookie reporter with the local paper, takes it upon himself to investigate the murders, as well. As he learns what it takes to be the kind of reporter he wants to be, Carl puts himself in danger for the sake of the story.

What will it take to bring all of these people together to find the real reason people continue to disappear?

The story holds your interest until the end. It has a little of everything, detective story, romance, a few twists and just the right amount of psychic sprinkles. The narrator is OK and has a pleasant voice. To start with she sounds as if she doesn't know what she is reading, but it picks up and sounds much better after the first two chapters.

Just loved the story

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to enjoy the book as much as I have. I'm very interested in any type of psychic ability, be them real or fictionalised! 🔮
I enjoyed the narrator, which is rare for me when it comes to female performance, so that was another plus!
The characters and dialogue were spot on. My only complaint is that there was too much filler, which dragged the story out. I would still read more from this author in the future 😀 👍

Excellent!
