When your life flashes before your eyes, where would you stop?

No one can change the past, but the Midnight Train can take you there.
The chance to re-live the moments that meant most.
To see what kind of person you really were.

For Wilbur his best days were with Maggie, the love of his life. On his honeymoon in Venice.

Before he gave it all away.

He wishes he could go back and live differently. But to do so risks everything . . .

A magical, time-travelling love story, from the world of The Midnight Library.

I liked the gentleness of this story.
The way it gently tugged to get my attention but didn't ask anything else.
A gentle stroll through time which captivated and entertained.

Great narration too.

Absolutely superb, captivating book. The characters, the travelling train travelling through space, places and time so brilliantly intertwined. The story that unfolds from different peoples perspectives and you the reader-listener are observing and engaging into the story. Such an amazing book.

I love Matt Haig’s books. This is firmly a top 3 favourite. Being from Sheffield, I’m a little biased, loving hearing the names of roads and places from when I lived in the city. What a great message the books gives the reader. Thank you Matt!

Just a complete joy
