I found this by accident at 2am, aiming for something that may put me back to sleep. I saw it was Sheridan Smith, who is truly wonderful, but still thought I could just nod back off to it. However. from the moment it began, I was hooked! I could not switch it off. The performances are really excellent, from all involved. You can really empathise with the characters. Essentially, a really great story bought to life by a superb cast. I am genuinely upset I finished it. I think it will be a while before I find something comparable.

Totally gripping! Wonderful performances.

Presented in the style of a true-crime documentary, this was probably one of the most convincing performances I've ever heard. It can be difficult to make an acted, scripted piece sound like a genuine podcast, because it's hard to get actors to have the naturalistic tone of real interviewees, but this managed it so well, that if Sheridan Smith's voice wasn't so recognisable, I might have mistaken it for the real thing!

Excellent

This is a completely gripping story. The performant are truly authentic and realistic that it genuinely feels like you are listening to a documentary. A real twist in the tale too. Brilliant

Outstanding performances.

This is absolutely excellent. It presents as a true crime podcast, and that is how it lands. The only slight pricking of the reality bubble is the recognisability of the voices of two of the actors, but without them the level of verite would never come off. The whole cast is superb in pulling off truly authentic sounding ‘interview dialogue’ with all the right hesitations, stumbles and breaks. The story is excellent too - fooling you into thinking you know what’s what - but you don’t. More of this quality please.

Truly Impressive

The writing and the actors were great. Forgot sometimes that it was fiction. Will recommend.

Great acting
