I decided to listen to this after hearing my eldest listening at bedtime! And I just wanted something quick and lighthearted.

Obviously it's a kids book but that's just what I need sometimes - I wish there were magical bookshops like this in real life! Although someone was determined to close it down..

Overall a story focusing on friendship, sticking together, and being apart from those we love, but told in a way that's relevant to children.

One thing that irritated me a bit was the Americanisms for some words (like recess) and it was a British narrator, but I suppose that wouldn't be a problem if you are physically reading it.
